He has also consulted on the production and performance of a major magic show for Viacom.
Stephan is the founder of Thornton Enterprises, a marketing/advertising specialty company. Thornton Enterprises, nominated by Lockheed Martin, was selected by the U.S. Small Business Administration as, "Virginia 2011 Small Business Champion of the Year".
MEGA Magician
Stephan performed during the national tour of Madonna and Phil Collins as their hospitality suite entertainment. He has also performed for the Late Great Tennis Champion Arthur Ashe, Entrepreneur/TV Star Lori Greiner, Tennis Champion Andy Roddick, U.S. Presidential Candidate H. Ross Perot, Actor/Comedian Adam Sandler, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Businessman and Philanthropist Kenneth Langone, Recording Artist Celine Dion, and Television Star Judge Hatchett.
He performed on stage with Celebrity Jasmine Guy and Tony Award Winner Savion Glover in the production of "AIDS! It's No Illusion!", a benefit in memory of Tennis Great Arthur R. Ashe, Jr. Stephan was the brain child of "AIDS! It's No Illusion!" and the project received national media attention. Stephan was also seen performing one of Harry Houdini’s Escapes, The Milk Can, in the streets of downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Stephan was the Mega Magician for the South Florida’s Clear Channel’s radio station, MEGA 103.5
Recognized Talent
Stephan was chosen to represent Nabisco Biscuit Company for one of their most successful marketing programs called “Oreo...Unlock the Magic”. He is called upon several times a year to be a featured performer on the “High Seas” out of Florida. Stephan began performing at a very young age. At age 18, he was appointed Vice-President of the local chapter of The Society of American Magicians. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, who majored in Education and Business.
Producer, Director and Author
In addition to performing, Stephan writes, produces, and directs all of his performances. In his home town of Richmond, VA, Stephan has been commissioned by several organizations to develop programming for the youth. At the Jewish Community Center, he developed and created a magic camp for children. The culmination of this camp was a mini-illusion show featuring small illusions presented to the parents. Not only has he worked with young children; but also he has taught magic classes to students at the alternative high school, Open High School.
Stephan is the author of "Stephan's Magic By The Sea For Kids!", a book of tricks using science, math, spelling and psychology. It is designed with the young beach goers in mind.
Stephan has appeared in movies, commercials, and educational films. In his spare time, he swims with the United States Masters Swim Team and continues to trade secrets with his magician buddies.
